Obsessed!
Well, I am still fairly obsessed with encasing everything in sight! Here is the latest batch of soon-to-be-listed beads to whet your appetite.
I shall hopefully get around to listing these in my Bead Shop in the next couple of days, so keep checking. Also, look out for the Prize Draw Giveaway I shall be running soon!

Project to be published!
I had some lovely news today. The project that I submitted to Bead Magazine has been accepted! It will be included in the December/January edition, or sooner if a slot becomes available. The project is for a necklace, and it includes wire work and some bashing with a hammer, which is always good fun.
I submitted the project on a whim, and now I actually have to deliver the goods! Ha! That serves me right for being so spontaneous!
I will let you know when to rush out and buy your copy!

Transformed
Here are my encased beads, transformed into necklaces. These are great fun to make. Don't forget, you can commission pieces if you have a particular colour combination in mind, just contact me.
I made a bracelet too, with freshwater pearls and swarovski crystals.
I'm looking forward to taking some time off work in a couple of weeks so that I can get some proper torch time in. I feel all enthused and I'm definitely on a roll!

Encased beads
I've been making lots of encased beads this week! In fact, I can't seem to stop! Here is a necklace I've made using a set of them.
I made my own end-caps, using a doming block and dappers to shape them. There is something quite therapeutic about hammering!
This is my favourite set, just waiting to be made into something gorgeous.
Let me know what you think!

Wow! How lucky am I?!?
Just look at the gift I received in the post today! This beautiful necklace was made for me by Lynn Davy as a RAOBK (Random Act of Beady Kindness). Lynn has cleverly incorporated one of my own lampwork beads, and it just happens to be one of my very favourites, and one which I was sad to let go in the first place. So now it's come home again!
I just love how Lynn has reflected the pattern in the lampwork bead in her beaded tubes, right down to the sparkly silver detail! I have been wearing this necklace all day, and I can see that my entire spring wardrobe will be selected specifically with this gorgeous piece in mind!
So thank you very very much Lynn. You are a star!
